I just bought GT6! Is there anything major I should know has changed from GT5 or just any tips in general? Full disclosure I may not play it tonight but I will probably play this weekend. Tell me if you want me to tell you guys about new cars I got or if you really couldn’t care less. If you don’t care, please don’t feel bad or anything. Finally, just to warn in advance any pictures will most likely be phone to TV pics of questionable quality.

Enjoy! :)
*needs ultimate patience in waiting for its often huge updates, I hope your copy is shipped updated (if they do that).
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

It’s basically GT5, but better.

This is one of 3 ps3 games I own. Thanks for reminding me I need to play this! My S2k is sweet with every upgrade imagineable. Oversteer for days!

I didn’t end up playing much of GT6 , but I can tell you that picking it back up after a while is incredibly annoying; in that scenario, there will be many updates for the PS3 to install, and then the game itself will install them again. It will take hours .
Not to pry, but why not just export pics that you take within the game to the PS3 and then copy them onto a flash drive?

Unfortunately it’s not much of a bump from gt5. It’s actually what made me jump ship to an xbone and forza.

OK, well if it’s not great than I wasted only 15 bucks so it’s not that big of a deal. And I could just play forza 4 or GT5.

Yeah, I paid more and feel abused that the features marketed still haven’t come to the game.

They spent more money on production of the opening scenes than they did on updating the game itself.

They have a course maker app (for tablets only, but an apk for PC is going around). Unfortunately I only have the course maker app and not the game, though we can arrange a deal so you can access my creations and transfer the tracks to the game (just add Whg to the end of the track name).

Nooooo! It’s tablets only. Damnit Sony. Why not make it phone compatible? Oh well.

There’s an APK for that app.

I loved GT6. It’s a relatively small jump from 5, but they upgraded the handling quite a bit. I think they did some significant work on suspension modelling for the game.

It’s pretty good. It feels like half update and half new game. Also, HALLELUJAH! I CAN USE A PAINT CHIP MORE THAN ONCE NOW!

Yeah there are some interesting choices like that. They also allow you to buy any used car whenever you want. It’s convenient, but I sort of miss the collector element of 5 where you were always waiting for certain cars and couldn’t wait to drive them once you’d found them.

Yeah, it’s both a benefit and a drawback. Plus, there’s an ElCamino.
